This is exciting news for both Diabetes Type I & II patients, but I will also uncover a disturbing Trifecta of disease connection due to treating artificially lowered markers.

We have known that diabetes Type II is lifestyle induced and therefore reversible with changes in the very poor nutrition habits that caused it in the first place, but this is the first evidence I have seen that supports reversal of Diabetes Type I with elimination of all medications, even if you are insulin dependent!

The diabetic epidemic is worldwide mainly in industrialized countries where food is abundant, lifestyles are busy, and western nutrition habits have been adopted. Diabetes is of two types- type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Type 2 is the more common type of diabetes worldwide (90-95%). The good news is that with changes in food habits, you can completely restore your normal blood glucose levels and eliminate or reduce your need for medicine/insulin. You have probably been told, that once you are a diabetic, you will always be a diabetic. Every time you go to the doctor, they put you on more medicine/insulin. Along with that you are at risk for many other diseases which stem from diabetes like retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy, foot complications, high blood pressure, etc.

Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury presents a case study of a 23-year-old Diabetic Type I patient who was insulin dependent for 8 years. She had been given the sentence of being on medicine the rest of her life with increasing doses and was already presenting with eye and kidney problems. Diabetes I Reversal

Type I Diabetes stems from an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. Type II Diabetes is lifestyle induced from poor diet, obesity, high inflammation, sedentary lifestyle, high stress, having high blood pressure, toxin exposure and insulin dispruting medications or a combination of several of these. Both conditions can be improved or eliminated through adopting lifestyle and nutrition changes. Your quality of life will be improved and your risk of acquiring additional diseases will greatly be reduced.

Most of the doctors that are healing disease naturally are adopting whole food, plant heavy or low carbohydrate or ketogenic diets. Both can be effective, but I have come to the conclusion that what works best to prevent and reverse disease in general is a whole food plant heavy, 75% raw, dairy free and no more than 5% clean sourced meat. Last Days of Diabetes

Here are some key points if you don’t want to read the whole document:

  • U.S. Department of Health and Human Services have projected themselves (successfully though) as a self-styled medical parameter and guidelines deciding authority for rest of the world.
  • Under it is a department called National Institute of Health, under National Institute of Health sits National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) which runs ‘National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP).
  • An 8-member committee of NCEP decides the Cholesterol Guidelines ( similarly there are other department in NIH, engaged in creating guidelines for diabetes, hypertensions etc.) All members except for the chairman have massive ties to Big Pharma.
  • Cochrane Collaboration is a highly regarded medical organization being recognized by and referred by all major medical agencies across the world. They have branches in more than 130 countries and are known for not accepting any sponsorship or any kind of grant from any pharmaceutical company.

Diabetes

  • The 10-year risk of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in a Diabetic population is just 2% higher than in the non-diabetic population.
  • Lifetime risk of Dialysis in case of a Diabetic patient is just 1.5% higher than the normal population.
  • Lifetime risk of blindness is 4% higher in case of Diabetes patients.
  • Natural lowering of Blood Sugar = Lower risk of Diseases: True
  • Lowering Blood Sugar with Medication = Lower risk of Diseases: False
  • “Type 2 Diabetes is a Lifelong (chronic) disease.” – A service of the U S National Library of Medicine. False – it is reversible 100% with nutrition and exercise.
  • All the trials which were conducted to establish a cutoff point for Diabetes arrived at same conclusion i.e. 250 mg/dl as a threshold beyond which the risk of retinopathy and CVD increases steeply. Yet the criteria used to begin treatment with medication is ) fasting blood glucose ≥ 100mg/dl or HbA1c ≥ 5.6%

Cholesterol

  • Under Cochrane Collaboration, is University of British Columbia who on the basis of same ‘ALLHAT -LLT’ and ‘PROSPER ‘ trial concluded that “Statin shows no health benefit in primary prevention.” Even in the past, several medical agencies proved beyond doubts that lowering Cholesterol through drugs is not only worthless but also injurious to human health.
  • Honolulu Heart Program “Statins have not been shown to prevent heart disease or heart attack” Low cholesterol had significant association with mortality, which was an increased risk of mortality by 64%. The above conclusion was so clear that Pfizer, the largest manufacturer of Statin was forced to write a disclaimer for several years as below:
  • “Statins have not been shown to prevent heart disease or heart attacks” – Pfizer.

High Blood Pressure

  • The meta-analysis of Cochrane Collaboration, 2013, defines the hypertension threshold as 160/100 mmHg especially in case of diabetic patients.
  • However, now 120/80 mmHg as a threshold is prevailing globally as hypertension cutoff point.

It is a sad fact that we cannot trust our Health Agencies to dictate accurate levels of disease that benefit from treatment, because they are setting artificially low guidelines to get more people to take medications. By medicating unnecessarily, they actually induce MORE disease!

The good news is that all of these diseases can be reversed with better nutrition choices and lifestyle changes. You are ultimately in control of your own health. You can decide whether you put nutritionally dense foods into your mouth or you put fast food or processed foods into your mouth. You can choose to be sedentary and eventually become frail and sick or you can be active all day long and get regular exercise that is heart healthy. Get off your booty every single hour and MOVE! You can choose to be around positive people and set healthy boundaries with the stressful people or let the people you choose to be around cause stress in your life.
