Your body only recognizes real, whole food derived supplements, not synthetic vitamins with only part of the components from the real food.

Why do We Need to take Supplements?

  • Soil is depleted of nutrients
  • Vegetables have 1/10 of the nutrients they had in 1950
  • An individual would have to eat 27,000 calories a day to get all the nutrients needed from food alone
  • Our bodies need extra nutrients to fight off the increasing number of toxins we are exposed to
  • 97% of people are deficient in at least some of the vitamins our bodies require to function
  • Vitamin deficiencies can lead to problems like infertility, cognitive decline, low energy, low bone density, and poor immune system to name a few. Click the link below to watch a very informative video explaining the distinct differences between vitamin types. Synthetic vs Whole Food Vitamins Other Supplement Facts
  • 50% of people take some form of supplement
  • 98-99% of supplements are synthetic
  • Most synthetic vitamins contain only one part of the whole vitamin
  • Ascorbic acid is only 1 of 4 different parts of C -Bioflavonoids, Rutin & the J&K Factor are needed for a complete formulation.
  • Despite the fact that Americans consume more calcium than other nations, we have much higher rates of osteoporosis.
  • Most supplements are composed of crushed rocks processed with industrial chemicals, petroleum derivatives, oils, hydrogenated acetone-processed sugars and or irradiated animal fats.
  • The best source of calcium is from plants not dairy.

What Harm Can Taking Synthetic Vitamins Do?

  • Causes build up and clogging of the arteries.
  • Synthetic C actually causes 2.5 times MORE build up in the arteries.
  • Synthetic C (Ascorbic Acid) is an incomplete isolate made from modified corn sugar that is hydrogenated and processed with acetone. It does not include the flavonoids and phytonutrients that make it work.
  • B12 (Cyanocobalamin) is made with cyanide which actually suffocates the cells of the body. Methyl cobalamin or the whole food source name is the organic, complete form which the body will recognize.
  • B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate, Thiamine Hydrochloride) is made from coal tar, ammonia, acetone, and hydrochloric acid.
  • B9 (Folic Acid) comes from petroleum derivatives, acids, and acetylene.
  • B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) comes from petroleum ester, hydrochloric acid, and formaldehyde.
  • Synthetic B vitamins are a major cause of infertility.
  • D3 (cholecalciferol) is made by scientists who irradiate animal fat to stimulate vitamin D3 synthesis that mimics the natural production we find in our skin. They usually use lanolin, the waxy secretions from sheep skin that keeps wool dry.
  • Vitamin E (dl-alpha tocopherol, dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate, or dl-alpha tocopheryl succinate) is created using refined oils, trimethylhydroquinone, and isophytol.
  • Vitamin K3 (Menadione) is made from coal tar and genetically modified and hydrogenated soybean oil, with hydrochloric acid and nickel. It is considered highly toxic and damages the immune system.

Dr. Siegfried explains in this video that raw, organic, non-GMO and non-treated whole food sourced vitamins build up the cells instead of tear down the cells like toxic filled synthetic vitamins do.

Other Interesting Facts to Ponder

Whole sourced vitamins have many components to make it whole. Many of the synthetic versions only have a part of the whole vitamin, which does not nourish the body and is actually harmful.

FDA authorized that there is no difference between a vitamin and a chemical, which has created the misconception of labeling practices today. Dr. Wiley wrote a book called “The History of a Crime” after he fought valiantly to create safe labeling practices in America and resigned due to government overreach.

The milligrams (mg) of whole food vitamins are much lower than the chemically based synthetics because much more of the synthetic is needed than the natural to create a chemical reaction. They end up causing toxic build up, clogging the liver and kidneys because they are indigestible and not recognized by the body. For instance, 100 mg of whole plant food calcium is equivalent to 900 mg of the chemicalized synthetic that comes from rocks, shells, stone, bones and chalk.

The FDA’s recommendation for daily vitamin C intake for a female adult over the age of 19 is 75 mg, yet people are taking 500,1000, or 20,000 mg! Of course, that is all in the synthetic form. It only takes 6.5 mg of natural Vitamin C from plants to stop a sailor from dying of scurvy.

Dr. Catie Wyman Norris is interviewed by Mike Adams in this next video. They discuss the dangers of EMF exposure as well as the benefits of organic, whole food sourced vitamins with all of the cofactors that are recognized by your body. If you want to listen to just the vitamin section, and specifically calcium information, start the video around 15:00. I encourage you to listen to the whole interview because all of the information is valuable and worth your time.

Dr. Catie Interview

How many of you are taking synthetic supplements that your body doesn’t recognize? Maybe it’s time to reconsider spending your hard-earned money on something that won’t harm your body, but instead build your cellular health. It is a shame that we have to take supplements at all, but unfortunately our soil is so depleted, and our world is so full of toxins, that we are not getting the nutrients we need to keep our systems running and our immune systems able to fight off disease. Give your body the assistance it needs to be as vibrant, clear-headed and energetic as possible!

Another thing you can do is ask for special blood tests to check for levels of certain vitamins and minerals that aren’t on your comprehensive blood panel. I have my D, B12 and Omega 6:3 ratio checked to be sure I have appropriate levels. It’s better to catch it before it becomes a problem. As we all know D is vitally important for your immune health. Dr. Mercola’s optimal levels are 60-80 ng/mL. Vitamin B12 deficiencies have been correlated with risk of Dementia/Alzheimer’s. Dr. Bredesen’s optimal level is 500-1500 pg/ml. Omega 6:3 ratio is important to make sure you are not consuming high amounts of dangerous oils (canola & vegetable oil, which are also in most processed and restaurant foods). Most of your oils should be from food sources instead of processed oils. Think avocados, olives, nuts and seeds. High levels of omega 6 cause inflammation. Another good test to ask for is HS-CRP which measures your overall inflammation. Optimal level for this is .7mg/L according to Dr. Mercola.

Inflammation and vitamin deficiencies are the two major causes of chronic disease. Monitor your levels and talk to your doctor about any concerns that you may have. Eat the foods that come from the earth that God made for us as close to their natural form as you can. Get your missing nutrients from organic, wholefood sources and you will be on your road to better health! I love what Dr. Catie says about what some of her clients in the interview above told her – “As long as I take all of my superfoods, everything else is icing on the cake!”
